St. Peter School will join thousands of other Catholic Schools the week of January 28 – February3 to celebrate Catholic Schools Week 2023. Students will have various Spirit Days throughout the week, enjoy some faith and service activities as well as enjoy some fun too. And we are thrilled to announce the return of our Catholic Schools Week Winter Carnival on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm in the Parish Hall. The evening will include games, refreshments and fellowship as we celebrate our school and the gift of Catholic Education. Our Catholic Schools Week Open House will be Monday, January 30th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm and it is open to all friends and family past, present and future. As an added feature this year and as a show of gratitude to our parish family, St. Peter School will serve as the Lectors, Greeters, Gift Bearers, Rosary leaders and Choir at each of the four Masses the weekend of January 28 & 29.
Our school theme this year is “Jesus with Us…our Strength for the Journey.” As we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, we celebrate the heart of Catholic education and our school, Jesus! Through the teachers and staff, families and parish community and above all in the gift of the Eucharist, Jesus walks with us each day.
