The St. Peter School Forensics Team participated in the Diocesan Forensics Competition on March 24th at Holy Name Elementary School in Ebensburg. Our team this year was made up of seven sixth graders and two fifth graders all presenting speeches in different categories that they have been practicing since early January. Under the direction of coaches Mrs. Lori Holloway, Mrs. Theresa Sanner and Mrs. Joanne Swearman, all participants earned a medal at this year’s competition.
During the week before the competition, each member of our team presented their pieces to the school after Morning Advent Prayers in the hallway. It was memorable watching the younger students react with smiles and laughter and that reaction further inspired our team. Well done all!
